Daily Dog Photos: Friedrich Finds a Puddle

After four days of rain, our backyard becomes equipped with two large mud puddles deep enough for a dog lie in. Feeling a bit overheated after his morning walk, Friedrich decided to cool off in one of those puddles. Now, he desperately wants to come inside, but instead, he will get a cold-water hose-down before he is allowed back in the house.

Consequences are tough – even when you’re a dog.

What puddle?

What puddle?

Alright! I did it. I was in the puddle.

I'm sorry. I didn't mean it. Can I come in now? Please?

Aw, come on! LET. ME. IN.

Aw, come on! LET. ME. IN.

Fine. Let's get this bath thing over with.

Enough with the cold water already! And stop spraying me in the face, please.

I'm so humiliated.

I can't even look at you right now.

Can we just go back inside the damn house?

(Maya) I'll let you in, Fred! I just can't reach the door handle.

(Maya) That was hard to watch. I'm being good though. (Fred is too exhausted to speak.)

I love all the expressions our furbabies have! And bless you for having to deal with a quite large mud-covered pup! As if your days aren’t full enough keeping all the humans clean & fed, let’s throw this in too!

LOL. Thanks, Amber. Mostly, I feel like four children live here 😉 But, the furry ones make me laugh a lot (and they don’t talk back) so it all works out.
